The main attraction of Penffynnon and its local area is its location, Cardigan Bay with its lovely views, clean bathing waters and safe sandy beaches.

Nearby small friendly market towns of Cardigan, New Castle Emlyn and Aberaeron sell a great variety of local foods, cheeses, crafts and Antiques.

Other attractions include the recently restored Cardigan Castle. The theatre Mwldan and Small World theatre.

In the summer, the Pizzatipi Restaurant down by the River Teifi in Cardigan and for lovers of jazz, the small Jazz Bar in town the Cellar bar.
